Hi everyone!

I’m about to have my first interview for The Nippon Foundation Nikkei Scholarship, and I’d love some advice.

I’d like to know what kind of questions they usually ask. I understand they want to hear about my research topic, but is it more important to emphasize the benefits for both Japan and my home country?

Also, about the university choice, would it be okay if I mention a second option in case I’m not accepted into my first choice?

Any recommendations or tips would be really appreciated.
