Is Ikebukuro cheaper stay?
Spending some days at Fukuoka, Kyoto and Tokyo with 8 friends. It's getting expensive as we build our itinerary.
We're eventually going to separate and each heading home. We're going to hang around for another 4 days.
Being older 50s, the capsule route to save a few may not be ideal for our age.
So someone suggested Ikebukuro. 40 minutes by Yamanote Line. Everyone's favorite train.
Anyone stayed in this area before? Any hotel recommendations? Places to see (minus museums) eat, part take, shop
Last visit was last year for the Summer Fireworks around Sumida River. That was fun.
I'm going to visit some local vloggers in YouTube, like Meglog from Tokyo to get some tips and suggestions
Hope to visit Japan again
