First of all I'd like to thank all the redditors that took time to reply my last post about the house purchase, it had been incredibly helpful!
I'm about to make a move on a property and we agreed with the agent about conducting a home inspection with JHS.
I asked for a quote, and then found out they contacted JHS and will act as the middle -man, naturally getting a commission in the process. So they gave me a quote from their company which I find a bit shady.
We took some options for extra thermite check and pipe.
They're asking for 120k in total, taking 20k as commission and asking for 30k for the thermite, I digged a bit online and I believe this is very inflated, but I would like to get second opinions from people who actually used those services.
The house am looking at is fairly old ( built in 75) and about 90square meters. Thanks !
