Japanese wife is preggo and after marriage she chose to continue using her last name. My last name is a huge PITA in Japan since there is a space in it after the first two letters. Nightmare honestly. I think I am going to attempt a name change w deleting the space at the embassy.
Anyways, seems like the kids will get her last name in Japan, but for the American passport/social security they will be under my last name. Is that going to create some problems in the future if moving back and forth between the two countries? Does anyone do like this or is it possible to?
