I'll be 14 days in japan for the 2nd time in october. First time I didn't visit Osaka or its surroundings.
1-Does it make sense to use Osaka as a base to stay for like 5/6 days to visit interesting spots nearby? (towns in reach by Train)
2-Always had a lot of contrasting feedback from Osaka, how many days do you advice are worth spending there?
3- please advice towns in reach (1 1/2 – 2 hours by Train) that for you are TOTALLY worth a day trip, or link a post you found here that answers this.
P. S. As for the preferences of what to see, I'm totally down for traditional spots, Gardens, old towns. Want to avoid tourist traps, no parks, Disney, lego,, stuff like that.
