A video filmed on July 18 in Hekinan City, Aichi Prefecture, shows a dangerous traffic accident. A black compact car turned into a store parking lot and hit a child on a bicycle.
The bicycle fell over and its rear wheel got caught under the car. The driver, an elderly woman in her 80s, didn't stop immediately, and the car continued to move forward, even with the bicycle trapped underneath.
According to the person who filmed the video, the driver seemed confused after the accident. The driver got out of the car slowly and stared blankly at a single point, appearing not to understand what had just happened. The person who filmed the video called the police, and the child on the bicycle suffered minor injuries to their fingers.
