More and more I've been thinking, trying to determine which things about [my] life in Japan (good or bad) are genuinely about living in Japan, and distinguish them from things that are actually more about living specifically in Tokyo, or about living in the year 2025 anywhere, or about living abroad whatever the country, or about being in my mid-thirties, or about the country where I'm from, etc., etc. I found it surprisingly hard to pin-point ones that are truly about living in Japan, at least with enough certainty.
For reference, I've only lived in Tokyo and I moved here a bit before turning 30, almost 6 years ago.
I'm curious to see if more people have thought about this, and if you've had any findings!
