Salmon question


This is the farm raised Atlantic salmon from Costco and it was in freezer for atleast 2 weeks and I thawed it in fridge for about 48 hours. I was reading to cure it in salt and sugar and then ice water and I can lookup more about it, but wanted to know if the thawed fish for 48 hours in fridge is still good to eat raw.

I love cooked salmon too for sushi, but was just curious here.
