Hi everyone,
My wife and I are in the process of looking for a house maker company in Japan, and we’re a little stuck on which direction to go. We’d love to hear from anyone who has gone through this process or has experience with different companies.
Right now, we’re especially interested in:
一条工務店 (Ichijo Komuten): The cost performance is really hard to beat, and their energy efficiency seems top-notch.
Misawa Homes: We love the verticality of their designs and the unique layouts they offer.
We’re curious about other people’s experiences with these two companies (or others you’d recommend). Things like build quality, after-service, customization options, hidden costs, etc. would be super helpful to hear about.
Any insights, advice, or even horror stories would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.
