Hey, I live in the Kansai area and wanted to find some new hangout places in Osaka city!
My partner and I want to make bento for each other and have a little picnic.
Unfortunately, the weather won’t be cooling down any time soon so I wanted to know if anyone has suggestions for an indoor public place where we can sit and hangout with our bento.
Preferably somewhere pretty or with a view and even better if cheap/free, but I’ll take any suggestions!
I was thinking of maybe the observation deck at Abeno Harukas but I’m not sure if there’s any “free space” with seating where people are allowed to chill and bring their own food and drink.

Should cool down in about a month, but I’m not aware of anyplace like that that’s indoors.
Why don’t you go to [Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park](https://www.ikomasanjou.com/images/map_en.pdf) and have your bento there? It is usually a few degrees cooler on the top of the mountain than it is in the city.
That’s such a cute idea! Not indoors but there’s a large garden on top of Namba Parks which has plenty of outdoor seating and tables. You can also escape indoors easily if it gets too hot.
Abeno Harukas 16F has a semi indoor garden you can chill and it’s free!
