I just use cards, but say you are arriving in Osaka, with eg $1000 USD.
In short is the rate BETTER AT THE AIRPORT, BETTER IN TOWN at a bank, or THE SAME.
(Interestingly I've noticed in different countries, the answer to this question varies, perhaps due to regulations or whatever. In some countries it's identical, in some it's much worse at the airport, in some it's better at the airport.)
Does anyone know? (Does anyone even remembr cash?!)
For that matter I suppose what is the best place in town to change USD or Euro?!?
This has got to be the #1 question people coming from the states ask me and I just don't know 🙀
TY !
