Could anyone recommend a good hospital for tendinitis treatment? I have been diagnosed with peroneal tendinitis by a doctor here. The thing is, he and the other docs I have visited have offered little to no treatment. They just fob me off after taking an xray and say there is nothing wrong.
I am in pain every day, my tendon is definitely damaged as I can feel it. It’s affecting my day to day life. My knee is now hurting as well because I am not walking correctly. I did 3 months of physio and it made zero difference. I want to find a competent doctor/hospital that can CT scan and treat what is most definitely a serious injury.
I am a cyclist and I cannot ride now because of this. It’s been over a year now and if anything it’s worse. Any help and recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. Perhaps others can recommend a hospital that does corticosteroid or PRP injections, or perhaps even offers surgery for extreme cases like yours.
Having said that, best practice to treat tendinitis really does remain RICE (Rest, Ice, Compress, Elevate), OTC pain relievers (ibuprofen was the best for me) and modifying behaviour that caused/aggravates the tendinitis. It does take a long time to heal, which can be quite uncomfortable. And most importantly, if you don’t address whatever brought about the tendinitis in the first place, it will simply come back…and it comes back worse and longer each time.
