  1. So hard to pick between the 4, tho the all-out sprint feel of their G1 match made it such an amazing stand out bout

  3. I still would go with Hiromu Takahashi vs Taiji Ishimori from the BOSJ 25 Finals for New Japan and Saya Kamitani vs Tam Nakano from All Star Grand Queendom 2025 overall. As amazing as the Okada/Omega matches were, Okada matches didn’t land for me as well as Naito/Hiromu/Ishimori matches in New Japan. All of the Okada/Omega matches are high on that list, but for some reason didn’t quite hit that same high for me personally as matches from those other wrestlers.

  6. It’s up there but I like their match from G1 27 the most, especially it’s much faster paced than most Okada matches.

  8. I go through phases of thinking all 4 are the best but I ultimately always settle on their 2nd match from Dominion 2017 being the greatest of them. I think out of the 4, that match is a ‘perfect’ match – Aside from Okada vs Omega from Dominion 2017, the other matches I would say are genuinely perfect matches are Okada vs Tanahashi Invasion Attack 2013 and Wrestle Kingdom 10, Omega vs Naito G1 Climax 26 block final, Okada vs Shibata Sakura Genesis 2017, Okada vs Ibushi Wrestle Kingdom 14, Ibushi vs White Wrestle Kingdom 15, Okada vs Ospreay G1 Climax 32 Final, Omega vs Ospreay WK 17, and Ospreay vs Naito G1 Climax 33 semi-final. If I could only watch 10 matches for the rest of my life it would be those 10.

    This match is the greatest wrestling match of all time. Been a fan for nearly 20 years, watched thousands of matches, seen most/all of the “legendary” wrestling matches that there have been. This one is the best. It’s perfect.

  13. Until AEW this was their worst match for me. I really found the antics in the last ten minutes to be too goofy. Still think their first match is their best one.

  17. Honestly, my fav matches between them are WK 11 and G1 27. The first it’s because well, it’s their first, it had never happened before and it truly felt like the biggest possible match up in all of wrestling at that point, and of course it was fucking awesome. Their G1 match tho, it had the 30 minute time limit so they had to do their match within that timeline.

    I felt like both their Dominion matches are way too long and overindulgent at times, and obviously in order to last that long there have to be several minutes of “nothing”, so while I rate them very highly, both around 9/10, they are IMO slightly inferior to WK 11 and G1 27 because of that.

    My list is WK 11, G1 27, Dominion 2018 and Dominion 2017. Ofc All In 2025 is last but they’re different wrestlers and men, and in a different environment.

  19. This match is the only time I’ll refer to a match as “cinema”. To me, it’s perfect. I do feel like their WK 11 match is waaay more watchable though and I always show it to friends as an intro to NJPW or kenny and okada in general. Ibushi vs white G1 29 and ibushi vs okada WK 14 are also up there at the top of what I consider the best NJPW matches

  20. Nah Shibata is literally my “perfect” picture of a puroresu spirit wrestler his battle with Okada can’t unmatched EVER at SG 17’

    But with Kenny his matches with Naito G1 37’ and Naito G1 Finals 17’ definitely my top 3
