We live in a danchi in Hokkaido, and have a sink we're finding really hard to maintain.
Even with a fair amount of effort to avoid detritus going into it, we can't seem to avoid it continually getting blocked with food and getting icky very quickly. We're using a separate tub inside the sink to hold the dirty dishes, but it's only mitigating things a little.
The plughole seems to be a somewhat old and nonstandard design (see this picture: https://ibb.co/fYpFZ8xY), and none of the options at Daiso fit it. We do use a mesh net over the central element to try to tap the food, but it doesn't really help.
Any advice (apart from being even more careful and fastidious)?
