Hello all,
Hopefully this is allowed. Back in 2019, I visited Kyoto and walked into a ramen shop by myself and had the best tsukemen I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, I do not remember the shop. I vaguely recall waking not TOO far from a train station, and I think I was walking towards some sort of park or landmark.
My brother is visiting Kyoto soon, and I wanted to see if I could find the shop for him. I do have the picture of the ramen but sadly no location tag. I know it’s a long shot as I’m sure there are hundreds, if not more, independent ramen shops.
Thank you!

To be fair, how many Tsukemen shops did you try in total?

i’m pretty sure this is the one you’re referring to
I’m not a huge ramen expert, but isn’t this udon?
All ramen I’ve had is a lot thinner, but maybe there is ramen that is thicker like this?
Been there done that – tsukemen ginjo Kyoto

Looks like udon!
Speaking of tsukemen I personally recommend this one in Ichijoji named Juukougunndann 重厚軍団. [https://maps.app.goo.gl/sw6Tw7YJi7MxYstw5](https://maps.app.goo.gl/sw6Tw7YJi7MxYstw5) Slightly far from the center of the city though.
