A foreign tourist who self-videoed himself acting obnoxious at a cemetery in Yamanashi Prefecture that went viral, led the Australian Embassy to issue a warning to act respectively. When the man was interviewed, he apologized for his actions and added what he did was done by his own actions and not to blame the entire Australian people.
In another incident, naked people were seen jumping into Lake Kawaguchi. When one of the people was interviewed, he replied he jumped in because Lake Kawaguchi has clear waters and he wanted to swim naked with fishes. He apologized but didn't show any signs of remorse.
Local police is investigating these cases.
