Pharmacoviglance/Pharmacy job opportunities in Japan

Hello everyone,

I’m a Pharmacist (40F) with approximately 10 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance at two multinational pharmaceutical companies. I’m currently working as a Pharmacovigilance Senior Specialist.

My husband has received a job offer in Japan. He already holds a Japanese work visa, and I will be able to obtain the same visa through him.

I’m now exploring work opportunities in Japan. I searched on LinkedIn and found some positions in my field posted in English, with no mention of requiring Japanese language fluency (I don't speak Japanese yet, but I'll learn when we decide to relocate).

I know that in other countries (such as the USA, Canada, and some in Europe), Pharmacovigilance is considered more of an administrative area, and diploma revalidation is not required. Would I also need to revalidate my diploma in order to work as a Pharmacovigilance Senior Specialist in Japan?

Thank you !
