Visa Help After Graduating Language School

I moved to Japan around a year ago on a student visa, studying at a Language School. My original plan was to get a job here in Japan to sponser my visa so I can continue to live in Japan but I have since changed my goals to moving to higher education so I can get a better job. I have schools in mind but I need N1 to attend and I know it will be impossible before my visa expires in April. I have attempted to discuss options with my school as most sources online say they will help students figure out a plan for the future but it is very clear my teacher does not plan on assisting me with this matter like she is the other students. I was hoping to attend a 予備校 in order to buy me time to take the next EJU and JLPT but they don't qualify for student visas and the ones geared towards foreigner nationals all seem to be language schools so I wouldn't be able to extend my visa on them. I have tried finding a job but without a bachelor's degree I can't seem to find someone who is willing to take me with my current Japanese level. I have family here in Japan but as I am not their dependent I can't obtain a family visa but I am kind of at a loss here on what to do. I only have 6 more months on my visa so I am quite concerned especially with the lack of assistance from my school.
