Nobody to replace him that isn’t going to mean more of the same. Until a “credible” person is made PM, the disgruntled far-right section of the LDP will continue to turn to shitheads like Sanseito.
Or, a decent opposition would be nice. DPP did better than Sanseito with a more centrist approach, so there are disgruntled moderate LDP supporters that would vote for a decent opposition party too. This would also draw the far-right nutters back under the LDP umbrella in response.
