Next year will be the 60 year return of the infamous Fire Horse year in the Chinese Zodiac system.
In 1966 the birth rate dropped by 26% because of the belief that daughters born in a Fire Horse year have hot tempers, are domineering over their husbands, and will have perpetually bad luck. People just didn’t want to risk it.
