Hello! I'm headed to Japan at the end of September and I'd love to know what the best way to navigate the culture around photography is. I do a lot of amateur travel photography, but this is my first trip to Japan and I don't want to take any photos of something or someone I shouldn't. I typically focus on landscapes and architecture, but of course people are everywhere so I know it's impossible to avoid catching someone with my lense.
I do know it's rude to take a photo of any geisha, so I won't be doing that, but if there's anything else I should be aware of, please let me know!
