Is going to USJ on a Friday in October a bad idea?

I’ve heard horror stories of people waiting in lines for 1-2 hours for a single attraction. I figured Friday wouldn’t be as bad as a Saturday or Sunday, but I’d still like to know what I’m gonna be getting myself into.
