Takashima metalworks of iga city thank you for the PR 😉 /s
Those aren’t “hidden” they are in multiple places of that shrine as well.
What is hidden?
They aren’t hidden nor mysterious, there’s like a million of them in Kyoto, especially at Inari.
Is this parody
Inari shrines have foxes in front of them as they are believed to be sacred and destined to bring you good luck.
You can find big ones in Fushimi Inari as well.
Around country side, people sometimes pet foxes which is super cute when you find them.
its so mysterious and hidden, the even got dressed in a colour close to camouflage
when can we as a species end the “Hidden” thing? Every youtube/tiktok/ig/advertorial talks about “hidden” places that have existed for a while and are frequented by many people.
Is this what karma farming looks like ?
Karma isn’t going to farm itself, right, OP?
lol hidden
it’s great to ask questions and desire to learn more about a new culture but we have to stop taking photos of everything especially of Shrines that might still be in use.
The Red aprons on the foxes with the prayer for company wealth tell me it still is.
They are kitsune.
Cuz, you’re not Indiana Jones. These are quite common around Kyoto 😂. They aren’t mysterious nor hidden. Maybe the rube’s back home will believe it though
“I’m a mysterious and brave explorer or the orient!!!1”
Wow I’ve never seen a shrine with two statues like this before. I wonder what it means
