  1. What happened to the Stupid Questions thread?  I want to ask a question but it’s not about Mericari or credit cards, so I don’t think I should make a fresh post on the front page.

Anyways, wheat pillows – apart from Amazon or Rakuten, where are they sold?

  2. I have no idea how this clinic is calling up patients.

Last time I was here I walked in and took a number. My number was 62 or something, and the current number called was around 15 or something. 20 minutes later my number was being called, and I hadn’t even made an appointment. This time I made an appointment, my number is in the low 30s and I’ve been waiting for about an hour now. It makes no sense at all.

  3. Did anyone manage to get any decent pictures of the blood moon the other day? I tried but my camera just isn’t good enough for night shots.

  4. To the guy who hula-hoops for what seems like hours almost every day at the park right next to the Seiyu in Ikebukuro:

I pour out one for your dedication man. Love it.

  5. At language school we were supposed to do a presentation on any building, how it was constructed, significance, etc. as our current chapter was about different country construction techniques. I put a slide show together of my parent’s dog, bunch of photos and videos, talked about how we got him, his favorite things, things he doesn’t like, interesting facts about him.

Everyone was understandably confused, but by the end they seemed to really enjoy the videos of him eating grass, rolling a log around, a video of a cat spying on him unbeknownst to him lol.

  6. We live in town in the middle of nowhere where nothing ever happens. But my husband is nosey af so when he found out his manager hasn’t spoken to his wife in months and has been aimlessly driving around, sleeping in random parking lots, my husband made it his little mission to “check” those spots. He even drags me along on these mini stakeouts. I can’t decide if it’s cute or creepy, all I know is, my husband seems just a little too pleased that his manager is miserable 🫢🥹

  7. Land and housing cost. I just don’t get it.

I read a lot of anecdotes like in this [JapanLife thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/japanlife/comments/1hx36pq/how_much_did_you_spend_on_building_a_house/). Many people seem to be getting homes for less than 50m but when I search for building a house like in Kanto, with Suumo, everything seems to be way over. Should I just assume all these people in threads such as the one I linked just live outside Kanto? Maybe I am looking at a website that’s not relevant to my needs?

  8. RANT!!! (Sorry for bad English)

I live in UR apartment and I found out one of my neighbor has been putting their チラシ in my mailbox. I have one of those チラシお断り sticker and it was working until these past few months. At first I didn’t think much of it because maybe they just started ignoring it but last Friday I checked my mailbox that was empty the day before and I saw loads of チラシ.

Of course I didn’t think much of it until I saw one of my neighbors mail. This was the 2nd time I received a mail that was supposed to go in their address and it made me realize it wasn’t the first time these fuckers have done this. I also received two of the same city newspaper for September (that they send once a month I think?) and also one from July and August. I went to the 管理人 and apparently they can’t do anything about it. I asked if I can put a written sign that says “ゴミを入れないでください” and they said sure and if it happens again I can report to them. Hopefully it works but why don’t they just put the same sticker or clean their mailbox once a week instead of putting it on others?! Are they too lazy to buy one from Amazon as well??

TLDR: Asshole neighbor put their trash mails in my mailbox that they pile up because they are too lazy which makes my チラシお断り sticker useless

  9. Grinding away for pre level 2 of Kanji Kentei. I took a mock test last night and got 143 points. I need at least 140 points to pass. I really want to at least score in the 160 or 170 point range. I hope I can make it there by October 19th.
