Language question, is there a Japanese slur against Okinawan people?

From my understanding, since Okinawa was a relatively "late" addition to Japan proper, there was some level of discrimination towards the islanders until relatively recently. So I do have to wonder if there was any derogatory terms used against the Okinawan islanders.
