Moving from Tokyo to Sagamihara (Fujino)

I’m moving to Sagamihara, specifically Fujino Station, from Tokyo in preparation for my son to start school in the area next year.

Just wondering if there’s anyone here that lives around Fujino station that has any tips, tricks, recommendations, insider knowledge, places to know, anything of that nature that could help make the move & living there a smoother experience.
