Hi guys! Today I received dependent visa from Australia and will be moving out of Japan within next two weeks. I know it is such a short period.
I would like to know the most important things to do when leaving Japan.
1) Tenshutsu todoke – I am aware that I need to inform ward office and withdraw from pension, health insurance, etc.
2) However, I wanted to keep my Japanese bank accounts for about 3 to 4 months to make fund transfer online later when I arrive in Australia. Is it ok to keep the bank accounts while my residence card is likely to be invalidated by immigration upon leaving Japan due to my tenshutsu todoke notice. Or can I write as re-entry to mock immigration officer?
What are your opinions?
