At the time, the Brazilian passport was easier to forge. Although systems have evolved and controls are now stricter, the document remains highly coveted, as it does not require visa in most parts of the world and anyone can pass themselves off as Brazilian."

Didn’t his brother do this all the time?
The Kims from Jong Il on down had visited Tokyo Disneyland a number of times before Jong Nam got caught trying to enter the country in 2001.
And it purports to have been issued at the Brazilian Embassy in Prague. He also ate yakitori at a small place under the tracks in Yurakucho.
Is it true for the disney visit??

The passport thing is true, but I think you are mixing up the Tokyo Disneyland visit with his brother that he killed in Malaysia.
Fact checking website Snopes confirms the passports, but also indicates there is no proof that Kim Jong-un went to Disneyland. Also his brother Kim Jong Nam was caught before he actually went there

Those were real passports (not forged) issued by a major Brazilian embassy. How they managed to get real Brazilian passports issued to them is still unclear.
E.g., maybe through bribery or threats — but alternatively, with knowledge and support from the Brazilian government. (The president of Brazil at the time established Brazil’s full diplomatic relations with North Korea a few years later).
where is the family name “Pwag” supposed to be from?
Totally understandable
RIP his brother. He was just trying to get to Tokyo Disneyland
God forbid a man has hobbies….
He can just easily make north korea a good place to live, if he enjoy Tokyo so much why not make his country be like that.
No way Josee
Kim João Un?
While this has been known for a long time, it is interesting how the names mentioned in the passport didn’t seem to raise any suspicion with the Japanese authorities. They look completely made up and unless I am missing something, the children inherit Brazil inherit the family names of both their parents.
