Anyone else love the calm of Kyoto at twilight?

3. I love the vibe along Kamo river at sun down. had I not forgotten my insect repellant, I would’ve stayed longer.

   also, I love walking at night, even if my feet are already tired from all the daily walk. not near the touristy area of course.

13. My work is basically like a cat, I work at dawn and at dusk. Otherwise life and sleeping and such. However 4am is oh so beautiful in Kyoto.

15. I absolutely loved taking strolls throughout the city, aimlessly wandering around neighborhood streets at night when I lived there. I don’t remember the name of the little side alley that ran parallel to Kamogawa over by the Starbucks on Sanjo-dori, I think maybe Pontocho or something. Anyways it was my one of my favorite night time walks, especially during Sakura season
