Any good product to clean grease cleaner on extractor hood?

My god, I didn't clean this thing for 6 months, and the grease is so hard to remove. Any good product recommendation? The filter is so.. so thin, if I force on it with a sponge, or old toothbrush, I bend it, so I need something very efficient.
