TL;DR Sanseito party member Keiko Wada, during a Naha city council session, claimed transgender identities are “contagious” and suggested schools should prioritize referring transgender students to psychologists. Wada, who topped the vote count in the July election, later clarified she did not intend to discriminate.

Scary to think that she was the top vote getter.
Quick, spread the transgender contagion to them.
These people are united by the same hatred and stupid mentality worldwide.
Reject this garbage and rise above.

Okay? Right wing idiots are right wing idiots. I’m utterly shocked.
Is that japonese MAGA? Lmao. That’s what happens when the country have stagnant wages since forever. When neoliberalism fails, it can go to two places: the far left or far right. Since the left is too scary to the ruling class, only the far right is winning throughout the world, unopposed.
I only hope the Japanese “left” is not as captured by corporate interests as the “left” of America so it’s able to fight properly against the right in this crisis.
any transgender identities want to spread their contagions? Know a great bar
Anytime someone says that gay or trans people are contagious, they are telling you something about themselves and their own insecurities, not reality.
Do they support these psychologist visit be covered by healthcare/insurance? Currently, they would need to pay out of pocket.
I think it’s not a bad idea for young, transgender people to have a psychologist. It will help them better identify who they are and their future — same goes for literally everybody. But I assume that was not the intent of this suggestion.
edit: after finishing the article, empathy was not in the equation — only bigotry.
Unfortunately, far-right extremist stupidity seems to be contagious.
