Chicken Pancake Pass or Fail?

After many years of living in Japan, I was shocked to find out that I had never tried a viral convenience store food mashup.

I had never thought to try a pancake with chicken.

So today I went on a quest to finally try this viral food. Sadly, I was unable to find a convenience store near me that had the chicken that people raved about.

I was however, able to find Karagekun chicken and the pancakes. I personally think that this is very delicious and I am super glad that I tried it. It is probably going to be a staple snack when the mood strikes. But, is the Karagekun chicken enough? Or is there a better chicken option available? Have you tried the Karagekun version?
