I just had 15 pieces of clothing appraised ranging from jeans to dresses to jerseys to shirts etc. and they gave me 200 yen for good quality stuff. And that thrift store is pricier than others in the area. They will easily make over $100 profit on the items they just got from me. If I wasn’t so desperate to make my closest smaller I would’ve told them no and donated the clothes to somewhere that would actually sell them cheaper or a charity or something. What an actual slap in the face. Less than $2 for 15 pieces of clothing. And MangaSouko is not that cheap of a thrift store!! I can easily find good quality pieces for way less at second street or hard off. Honestly this experience made me change the way I see them. I don’t think I’ll be going back even as a browser. Wow! Crazy disappointing. Don’t waste your time with them if you want to get rid of clothes. Just take your stuff to a charity shop instead. You’ll feel much better!
