For those that don't know Cerulean Blue is a snorkeling tour agency alongside other experiences. Me and my friend book the trip to go to Kerama Island whole day tour. The entire experience itself wasn't bad, but towards the end of the tour, we noticed one of the staff members trying to discreetly film us by putting his GoPro to his waist and pointing it straight towards us in the corner of the boat. My friend and I were in our swimsuits, so I think he wanted to get some type of video. We also noticed that not only was he pointing the GoPro straight at us, but he would also constantly look over and stare at us as well.
We told the other staff, and he said he would never do something like that but when we tried to confront him, he just said that his GoPro battery was dead. We go back to our seats, but we knew that he wasn't telling the whole truth.
After everyone got off the boat, we asked him to show us his go pro. If he has nothing to hide, then he would show it right? He ended up becoming very frantic and started shaking while trying to continue to convince us that his go pro was dead. I asked if I could turn it on, and he refused, but this time he turned it on himself. It's at 43%. So we asked him if we could look at the videos and he just leaned away from us and then tried to convince us that all his videos are from diving.
We tried involving the other staff again but we also noticed that he was messing with his go pro and definitely trying to delete the photos. The other staff told him to hand over the go pro so that we could see if but he was still clicking buttons and trying to mess with his GoPro. He let us check his go pro and there were just 5 photos that were left. Not one of them were diving videos or photos like he suggested.
If you do book with Cerulean Blue just be careful, especially if you're a woman. I suggest going in a bigger group and staying vigilant because my friend and I almost didn't ask the second time because we were scared of this exact situation. If you can, take your business elsewhere, somewhere that doesn't employ creeps like these.
Does anyone also know how we can escalate this situation? I'm afraid he might try to do this again. Let me know

Yikes. I’m really sorry that happened to you. I’ve used Cerulean Blue multiple times and not had issues, so this is extremely concerning. Do you have a physical description of the guy and did you get his name? You could report it to local police, especially considering there were witnesses.
I never heard of the company and just googled their site – Cerulean Blue -[https://www.cerulean-blue.co.jp/en](https://www.cerulean-blue.co.jp/en)
Perhaps you can share this with them and all the details and be as specific, and report the staff, and describe how the person looked like, times, dates, who you spoke to, such and such. What a terrible experience for you and your friend.
I hope you enjoy better times.
