The suspect, Yoichi Shimokawa, allegedly kissed the woman and forced her hand against his body while inside a parked car in May. The arrest, made on October 20, follows accusations of non-consensual acts. Shimokawa denies the charges, claiming it is a case of mistaken arrest. The incident occurred while he was off duty and transporting the female colleague. Fukuoka police held a press conference at 3 p.m. to discuss the arrest.
