We've been discussing our financial approach and agreed on a system that works for us: a shared account for household and child expenses, and separate personal accounts from which we'll each receive a monthly allowance.
However, I've recently learned that joint bank accounts aren't common in Japan. This has led me to a new set of questions, and I'm hoping to hear from those with personal experience.
