The impression I've gotten from various media is that Japanese politics are plagued by aging politicians and a disaffected/disinterested youth. I know the Daily Show and the spread of political comedy it began was key to my political awakening. I'm just curious if that's something Japan has as well. I feel like I rarely or never see it depicted in media.
Is there just nothing to call out? Does the culture make it "improper"?
