I notice the Cheddar and Spinach pies/pasties are back at Gyoumu. Praise to Gyoumu.
*Damn, by this time in the morning, the weekly complaint is already half full.*
I found this sinuses rinse thing online and it is pretty cool. You add a magic powder made of sodium and baking soda, and it cleans your nose pretty good. おすすめ。
Made pork rendang- which sounds like a heresy because it’s supposed to be with beef- the dish originates from muslim majority countries after all; because I’m trying to cut my budget where I can cut it… and it tastes just as good. Lol.
6 more days until the release of Ghost of Yotei!!!!!!
We went to the Fate/Zero 2.5 last week, and it was really good.
I was amused by the audience around me twice. The first time was during Iskandar’s death scene and many of the people around me were sniffling.
The second was when Gilgamesh shows up during the epilogue and he’s sitting there with his legs crossed and wearing nothing (the actor did have a body stocking under his waist). There were appreciative murmurs from the crowd and many, many opera glasses were quickly raised to the eyes.
I bought a house recently. I’m still in disbelief!! I truly believed this was something I’d never be able to do. It’s surreal and I am so, so grateful.
Application for renewal of MyNumber Card came with the post ! Card valid till Dec.
I really got lucky with my surgeon. He stops by and checks on me on the mornings of his days off and even made a surprise visit to me recently on the day of my discharge while I was hospitalized in a different department just to check on me before I see him again soon.
I don’t hear much about positive experiences with surgeons, but I feel like I won the lottery with him. It’s been hard but he has made my disease easier to deal with. He’s a wonderful doctor.
I picked up a used sewing machine at Hard Off on a whim like a month ago. I’ve been taking a seam ripper to some old kimonos I got at a flea market to make new clothes out of them. I’m still very, very much a beginner at sewing but I’m really happy with my results so far. Makes me want to get rid of all my old fast fashion clothes.
