Anyone got a good English speaking labor lawyer to recommend in Tokyo? My company is pushing me to leave and I need some legal advice before I sign anything.
Bonus question: should I contact hellowork?
I used the search, previous threads are either old or inconclusive.
If anyone feels like giving free advice:
- Seishain
- Worked there for nearly for years
- Been very unmotivated for the past year or so because of work atmosphere, can't argue my performance were poor
- I was hoping to find a new job before this came
- They're also offering me a shitty position as office manager, unrelated to my skills, with a pay cut
- They're pushing me decide and sign something next Tuesday
- Told them I won't sign anything without checking with a lawyer first
- I still have 20-ish days of paid holidays to take
