My partner has recently moved to Okinawa for work. I’m graduating uni December 2025, and I’m considering moving in with my partner after graduation.
I’m a bit hesitant because I’m not sure if I would be able to get a job there or how would I even get a visa if I don’t speak Japanese. But that’s beside the point.
I’m curious if there is a small creative hub in Okinawa, or galleries/active art communities that are foreigner friendly?
EDIT: I keep getting replies about visa. I just want to clarify I do take this problem seriously, I just don’t need any particular help for it lol I already have a solution eligible for citizens of my country. I asked about the creative community because that’s what interests me and cause I’d like to meet more creatives.
