Got away from the farm to do the Bandai Azuma Skyline on my bike. It was beautiful, though a bit scary navigating sharp, hairpin turns with elevation changes in tight switchbacks. My first time ever being on something with active fumaroles. I found it surprisingly moving watching steam billowing out of the side of a mostly-bare mountain (I’m guessing due to soil temperature and composition as it was in the teens up there so not frozen or anything).
Got a new lawnmower since the old one decided it had had enough. Much wider cutting area and more powerful motor. Unfortunately gas rather than electric, but at least now I’m more limited by my own endurance. Still, can’t wait to have more stuff turned into growing space than useless lawn.
Went to TGS on Sunday. Wasn’t planning to go but BF6 had a booth and they have TGS-limited items… so yeah.
Too crowded as expected. Arrived in Makuhari around 0820. Finally got in at around 0940 and headed straight for EA’s booth. Did both the Singleplayer and Multiplayer demo, secured two merchs. Roamed around all the other halls, gosh dang the sea of people. Nothing was that interesting. Left the venue at around 1400.
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I went to Expo for the second time and at this point I think I’m seemingly the only person who enjoyed it (at least enjoyed it more than the first time). Got there a little later around 2 so there was no wait at security, went into a dozen smaller pavilions and never waited more than 20 minutes, got super lucky and scored a same day entry to Australia, ate food at a not crowded restaurant off to the side, and enjoyed wandering aimless around the ring.
