Driver’s License final exam

For those who got their driver’s license in Japan from the very beginning, not 切り替え, was the final exam easier or harder than you expected?

I’m currently doing a bunch of required mock exams at my driving school. I need to pass around 11 in total. I know most driving schools don’t do that, but unfortunately that’s how mine works. Even though I know pretty much everything, I’m still nervous about the final. I’ve heard from friends that it was easier than they expected. I haven’t really heard anyone say it was hard, but I guess that’s pretty relative.

Also, I’m taking the exams in English. I did everything else in Japanese, but it takes me too long to read in Japanese. What do you guys think of the translations? Sometimes they feel a bit off, but I can’t really complain.
