Hi all,
My partner and I used to live in JP but left because of the work / life balance.
We've been living in NZ for 5+ years and now have 2 young daughters. NZ is nice, but we already decided maybe 2 years in this is not where we would want to spend the rest of our lives.
I've recently had the opportunity to move in my role to a global based role, which means I can work fully remote, from any timezone.
Remote working would solve my biggest gripe with JP, and my partner is really keen on the idea of moving back eventually.
I'd love to hear from people who have raised halfie kids in Tokyo / Yokohama. Especially girls. My fear is bringing them to a country where they will be educated into thinking women should be housewives and feminism isn't that important. or maybe it's not all that bad, as we'll be part of their education also
