Hello everyone, first time posting here, apologize if this is the wrong place for the post.
I am currently a vet med student from the US and is interested in moving to Japan in the far future. I was born in Taiwan and moved to the US with family as a kid. So I have both citizenship and fluent in both Mandarin Chinse and English. I was N2 level before starting vet med school, right now probably N3, but still able to communicate just fine in Japanese. I lived in Japan before and visited numerous times, range from 1 week to months.
Besides liking the culture and the country, the main reasons I am thinking on moving to Japan in the future is that my grandparents grew up toward the end of the Japanese ear in Taiwan, so I always had the mixed Japanese culture in my family and they always encouraged me moving to Japan. Also, Japan is closer to many of my family and friends compare to US.
I know the requirement for foreigner to practice in Japan are JLPT N1 level and pass both the 予備試験 and the 国家試験. Since I know Chinese and was N2 level, getting to N1 won't be too hard, once I have sometime to practice Japanese again after graduation. I am curious if any here know someone that passed the exam as foreigner and is practicing vet med in Japan? Is so, can you share your story. Also, which visa category will vet med fall under? Since there are no vet med specific visa and the medical service is only for human doctors. I guess another route is to do military vet and get assigned in Japan.

JLPT N1 is required.
The government’s explanation regarding the conditions for overseas veterinarians to obtain Japanese qualifications is available here.

I’ve heard of one french woman becoming a nurse in Japan but it took her almost a decade to actually get to do the actual practice. I think any medically related jobs in Japan are the hardest to land as a foreigner compared to a foreigner in UE. Good luck on that!
