Can we really not edit the passport style photo we submit???

I'm looking at the reply form and the passport photo requirements is the same as the photo requirements we had to submit for the interview. Apart from the greenish background on the photo I submitted for the interview, it's perfect as a passport pic. Can't I just edit the background into white on Canva/photoshop? Would that be too noticeable and get me disqualified? I know I may be overthinking this (again) but I'm genuinely at a loss here LOL! I don't wanna make mistakes, not when I've made it this far. I'm willing to just go to a pharmacy and get one there but… I already have this photo and don't wanna drive somewhere just for an off-white/white background. Thoughts?
