How do people always sleep on the train

Maybe it’s just because I’m hyper aware or something but I cannot fall asleep around strangers or anything. I am not a sleeper on public transportation. I also can’t sleep if I can hear anything going on around me. I know that’s a little abnormal, that I’m an abnormally light sleeper, but… how are these people sleeping with their necks about to snap in to, head wagging around everywhere. Aren’t you in pain? How is the snapping of your neck not jolting you awake…? I don’t understand how people can sleep through everything + the painful positions they’re in. Anyways I have lived here for 2 years and not used to the way people sleep within 2 minutes of sitting down with their necks about to spasm due to the sheer pressure of the weight of their heads + train inertia.
