Japanese government announced it will provide over 800 million yen in grant aid to Palestine, where the humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate.
The humanitarian situation in Palestine has deteriorated significantly, with Israeli military attacking medical facilities that is causing continuing increase in civilian casualties and children starving from malnutrition caused by food shortages.
In light of this, the Japanese government has announced that it will provide grant aid of 861 million yen to provide medical assistance in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
In collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), Japan will provide health care services to local residents, provide necessary equipment, and repair medical facilities.
