So my contract has this line in it about when I have to pay each month: “は毎月15日までに”. I’m running a little low on funds rn, but I usually pay on the 13th so I never forget. This month, I’m waiting for my pay check to come in, and I get paid on the 15th (which is a Wednesday), but it’s also the “pay by” date. Does that line in Japanese mean I can pay ON the 15th as well, or does it mean I have to have paid before that date (like on the 14th)? Thanks in advance.
