I come from america and I’m currently living in tokyo. My gaming laptop that i brought with me from the US uses the type B plug with the ground pin so i brought an adapter with me but the dorm i just moved into only has 3 outlets and only one of them being a outlet i can plug the adapter into. The plug is located where the washing machine is, and if i wanted to use my laptop i would have to essentially sit right next to the washing machine. I thought about buying an American extension cable to try to use but i realized quite literally immediately it would be a fire hazard. I also considered using the adapter but not plugging in the ground cable but i don’t want to fry the laptop, charger or the outlet with that big brain move. Does anyone have any ideas or anything solutions to this problem?
