I just applied for my first credit card (MUFG). It should be delivered in a few weeks if I get approved. I mainly care about points and rewards, but most of my colleagues and friends have Rakuten credit cards. They say the Rakuten points are much better compared to MUFG.
Honestly, I applied for MUFG because I know it’s one of the biggest banks in Japan, so I assumed the benefits would be good. But now I’m not really sure what kind of perks or points I’ll actually get.
If anyone here has a MUFG credit card, could you share what kind of benefits you get?
Also, I travel every few months can MUFG cards be used for airport lounges? I heard Rakuten Gold lets you use the lounge twice a year.
